INTRODUCING: Copenhagen Indie Rock Duo No Project One Share Debut Single “Connected”

Copenhagen-based alternative rock duo No Project One have shared their debut release, “Connected”. Comprised of long-time friends Jesper Møller and Jakob Hjarsø, the pair left their small Danish town of Bornholm for the big city to continue writing music together. Their inaugural release is an exciting and charged track that also happens to be from their earliest days of jamming together.

“In a magical and somewhat coincidental way, ‘Connected’ ended up being the first No Project One song“, the band share. “Its sound instantly hits this pure feeling in both of us–something that is both raw and powerful and an atmosphere you can step into. The lyrics sum up a theme of human connection and feeling comfortable in what you do, where you are and with whom. A moment where nothing else really matters”.

While they come from different sonic roots, one in hip-hop, the other in cinematic soundscapes, their synergy as artists make an impact in the alternative rock genre, with bold guitar hooks and anthemic vocals as the pair alternate lead roles.

Jesper and Jakob add, ”To us, No Project One means that you rarely succeed in what you do the first time around–that everything must be tried and explored. This project reflects our abilities, curiosity and ideas that narratively tells the story of where we are and the fact, that this band is No Project One.”
