Italian Pop Artist Stefano May Partners With Alzheimer’s Research & Prevention Foundation For Heartfelt Single “Hope It Will Remind You”
Italian indie singer-songwriter Stefano May has partnered with the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation (ARPF) on his touching new single “Hope It Will Remind You”.
A heartfelt and bittersweet ballad, the single is a dedication to those affected by the disease and was inspired after having witnessed early stages of dementia develop into more serious Alzheimer’s amongst friends and loved ones alike. Stirring together empathy with personal memories, the song aims to shed a light on the Alzheimer’s community and showcase the power that music plays in its healing process.
Using home video VHS footage, the accompanying music video highlights Stefano’s relationship with his father and the disease’s impact on their relationship. Its emotional strength is elevated further courtesy of Stefano’s bold and classically-trained vocal performance, giving the ballad a commanding presence throughout.
About the song, Stefano adds, “My lyricist John Smallwood and I hope it helps people who suffer, as well as their loved ones. This song reminds me to live each day with gratitude, love, and compassion. Prevention of Alzheimer’s is beyond important. It’s an honor to partner with The Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation as they continue to champion new findings and advocate for disease prevention, and I look forward to working alongside the organization to write music that can help people in whatever capacity I can.”
