Vancouver alt-pop artist young friend has shared his latest single “feral canadian scaredy cat”, the new focus piece from his upcoming EP. Real name Drew Tarves, the fast-rising singer-songwriter continues to find new ways to showcase his down-to-earth, bedroom-pop style, and with his latest release, Tarves turns a small piano melody into a climactic and raw finale.

“The song explores the theme growing up sheltered and how that can continue to affect one into their adult life”, Drew shares. “This song is confrontational and cathartic.”
