INTRODUCING: UK Punk Act Silo Make Debut With Blistering Single “Sonder”

Hailing from Douglas, Isle of Man, punk five-piece Silo have shared their commanding debut single “Sonder”. Influenced by the likes of Snapcase, Jawbox, Linkin Park, and Balance & Composure, the group marry blistering vocals with post-hardcore melancholic guitar, fueled by a desire for loud, cathartic music.

After forming in 2021, “Sonder” was the first song the band wrote together. “Sonder is a song that has been with us from the beginning, from the days when there were only three of us”, the group shares. “Before we had a name and took the time to hone our efforts. Sonder was originally a different song that has been through many iterations. The key for us with the track was to be as true to us as fans of music as well as the creators of the track. Sonder is a no-frills rock song that we wrote to give us energy. We chose not to leverage samples and to focus purely on what we love, riff driven aggressive guitar music.”
