Austin Indie Rock Quartet Animals on TV Pay Homage To The Early Days of MTV With Latest Track “MTV 2095” From New EP ‘Spring Break 2095’

Austin-based four-piece Animals On TV have shared their new EP Spring Break 2095. Influenced by the early days of MTV, three-track collection poke at the evolution of the channel, as the eras between 1980-2000 come into play. The opening track, “MTV 2095” looks back at the channel from a different time line. “The further away from it we get, the weirder it looks,” shares the band.

Drawing notable influences from the mind of Julian Casablancas and The Strokes, the guitar-fronted psych-rock tune playfully intertwines melody, effects, and intergalactic humour.
