Electro-Pop Artist Bay Ledges Returns With Drippy New Single “Sylvia (Nanana)”
Los Angeles-based indie electro-pop artist Bay Ledges has shared his first single of the year with “Sylvia (Nanana)”, his first since the 2022 album Ritual.
Gooey and dreamy, the summer-ready release combines buoyant synthesizers and dripping vocal effects that looks to finding inner peace and a return to oneself. Zach Hurd, the brain behind the project, shares, “It’s kind of a journal entry, a collage of voice memos and guitar pieces I made by the river at home. It’s about getting yourself to put the grief aside so you can go out and be in the world again.”
Effortlessly falling into place on playlists alongside Tame Impala, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and Glass Animals, the new release is a shimmery and fun listen.
