British singer-songwriter Joe Brooks has returned with his new single “Memory Foam”. In line with the striking folk ballads of Mumford & Sons, and the compelling musicality of Tom Odell, Brooks adds to the impactful release through his personal style and storytelling.
About the song Brooks shares, “‘Memory Foam’ is knowing that deep down the love you had and bond created with someone who was once your world, is still somewhere inside them and no matter what hurtful things were said or mistakes made, instinctively, you know it was buried and not forgotten“.
He continues; “This closes a long important chapter of writing about past love, I’m hopeful for more optimistic lyrics ahead – though I can’t promise that“.
