Indie Folk Duo Handsome Ghost Share New SIngle “Tonight Comes Round Again” Off Upcoming LP
Massachusetts-based indie folk duo Handsome Ghost are set to release their new self-titled album on August 25th via Nettwerk. Their first full-length since 2020, the pair of Tim Noyes and Eddie Byun have continue to captivate listeners with their stirring blend of ethereal indie folk and indie rock.
While their career trajectory continues to move upwards, their latest single reflects on the days past with a bittersweet melancholy. Noyes shares:
“Many many years ago – right after I stopped teaching and started playing music – we would spend weeks at a time in New York. Much to the dismay of our friends who had to give up their couches for extended periods, I’m sure. That was a unique time in my life, just kicking around the city every day and every night with a lot of hope and very little responsibility. ‘Tonight Comes Round Again’ is about a brief relationship I had during that period, but I think it’s more so a chance to reflect on and celebrate a time that will never happen again.”
