Wooden Sky – American Girl (Cover)
Toronto’s fuzz-rock band Wooden Sky have just released their latest album Let’s Be Ready this week, and to support it, have set off on an extensive tour (dates below). On top of the exciting news, fans can also enjoy the new music video and high quality recording of their cover of Tom Petty‘s “American Girl”.
Maintaining the rock n’ roll flavour of the original, the Canadian band incorporate the rough vocals of lead singer Gavin Gardiner, sending it in a slightly raw, unpolished direction.
