TOKiMONSTA – I’m Waiting

After releasing the slick dance-trap hit “Put It Down”, which featured hip-hop star Anderson .Paak, and fellow DJ KRNE, L.A. based producer TOKiMONSTA is expected to release her new mini-album Forevre on March 4th.
“It represents my life at the time it was being made – a point where a lot of transitions were being made and I had the biggest personal growth spurt. Fovere essentially means, ‘to cherish’ in Latin. To cherish everything – good, bad, light and dark.”
Her lead single “I’m Waiting” cherishes the moment with a slow-burning, atmospheric chill-step vibe. TOKi’s ability to contrast dense, rich bass textures against fluttery, interstellar tones gives the new track a haunting daze.
