Canadian singer-songwriter Andy Shauf has won over the hearts of many new fans with his recent release of The Party earlier this month. The melancholic, quiet-spoken musician released the lead single “The Magician” back in March, along with its handcrafted music video designed by friend and director Winston Hacking. Made from the careful and meticulous task of “paperteering” old postcards and magazine clippings into hypnotic art pieces.
Shaun and Hacking have teamed up once more for the music video for “The Worst In You”, the latest single from the new album. Shauf’s laid-back, ’60s-pop sound combines with the unpredictable layering of the paper clippings to create a captivating and transfixing audio and visual experience.
