Swedish rock-duo Johnossi are back with their 4th studio album Transitions, finally being released internationally.
The album opens up with the moving and powerful track Into the Wild. According to the band, “this is a song for staring wistfully into the distance on top of a mountain while growing a beard and calmly shitting an entire Slim Jim”.
The song opens with a rining guitar pattern, and rustic vocals, and gradually progresses towards a “wild” and explosive finish, displaying the band’s powerful, provoking qualities.
Intended to reunite masculinity and emotion, the album transitions through different expressions, from longing in “Gone Forever”, to adrenaline-pumping excitement in “Seventeen” and everything in between.
