Nashville-based country star Mitchell Tenpenny has shared his new single “Here”, an uplifting and charming new single that expresses the importance of being optimistic and making the most of your time.
Tenpenny debuted the new single on his weekly live stream #TenpennyTuesdays, sharing his inspiration along with it:
“When I went into my writing session the day we wrote this song, the guys asked me what I had been up to. I had been working on the truck my Dad left me when he passed. I was just overly aware that life can be short and it left me with this feeling that all we have is right here, right now.”
Despite the song’s connection to loss, “Here” is a bright and impactful pop tune that brings out the shimmering qualities of country music and its heartfelt lyricism.
