With her highly anticipated sophomore album Don’t Sleep hitting shelves on July 17th, Australian electro-pop producer Alice Ivy is keeping things energizing with her new single “Better Man”.
Known for her dance-hungry music and infectious hooks, “Better Man” once again showcases the Aussie artist’s ability to craft tracks that modernize the timeless genres of soul, funk, and R&B, filtering the vintage sounds through electronic soundscapes. Featuring vocals from frontman of electro act SAFIA, Benjamin Joseph, “Better Man” is a feel-good groovy electro-pop tune, playing with hints of Hot Chip and Galantis.
As well, the accompanying music video is as uplifting and dynamic as the song, featuring triplej DJ Alex Dyson dancing through an empty theatre.
