Kadeema – What Are We Not Saying Now?

Our world moves fast. Sometimes, a little too fast. And with the high-speed attention spans and shifting trends, communication can often get lost within the rush.

Indie rock duo Kadeema, composed of songwriters Jimmy Chauveau (vocals) and Tal Vaisman (guitar), wanted to step back and reignite the importance of communication with their new single “What Are We Not Saying Now?”. The band shares:

The age we live in makes speaking one’s mind a little too dangerous, be it to your friends and loved ones or to the world. True honesty is perceived as aggressive behaviour. This song explores whether we may have swung the pendulum too far, making it so that we’re afraid to speak to each other for fear of the consequences”.

Through an anthemic, foot-stomping chorus of “What are we not saying now?” the duo ring home the question with sonic similarities to Judah & the Lion, AWOLNATION, and Kodaline. The new single’s heartbeat and catchy chorus give it life, giving listeners a sturdy look at their upcoming Napoleon Tornapart EP out June 26th.
