Electronic Dance Artist Yelle Announces LP With New Single “Karaté”
French electronic artist Yelle has been around the scene for 15 years now, sharing with the world her evolving blend of dance, house, and pop. Her latest album L’Ère du Verseau (The Age of Aquarius) is set to be released on September 4th. After sharing the lead single “Je T’aime Encore” earlier this year, Yelle has dropped yet another electrifying taster from the full-length, titled “Karaté”.
The Francophone dance anthem playful loops through the lyrics “Comment t’es sur le tatami quand t’es pas caché, quand t’as pas d’amis / Ton kimono est un pyjama” as the beat takes over, slowly building into an underground club banger that combines afrobeats with European house synthesizer, similar to the likes of Sofi Tukker. Nothing short of catchy and fun, “Karaté” is a must-have for any dance playlist, now and forever.
