Aussie Rock Trio Skegss Enjoy A Cold One In The New Video For “Fantasising”

Grungy Aussie rock group Skegss released their fuzz-filtered debut My Own Mess back in 2018, and have been busy touring and recording new music in the mean time. After sharing their summer surf-rock tune “Under The Thunder” back in June, the three-piece are back with another hazy track and music video for “Fantasising”.

“The Aussie pub, a quintessential drinking hole. Furnished with every walk of life as you drift further off the beaten track,” explains video director Kai Neville. “Bands have been burning through Australian pubs since the 1970s. Some gigs better than others. Join SKEGSS for an ice cold schooner as they wander into one of their more baffling gigs. The beer was ice cold, the locals eventually warmed up.

The combination of lead singer Ben Reed’s gritty voice, and the lo-fi fuzz-rock riffs and stylings from bassist Toby Cregan and drummer Johnny Lani makes for a head-banging good time, complete with alpacas, snakes, and strange patrons.
