GTA Artists 4Korners & Ashton Adams Come Together As 401 WST With New EP; Listen To Single “Alive”
International DJ 4Korners has teamed up with fellow Canadian producer Ashton Adams to become 401 WST, named after the highway that connects their hometowns of Toronto and Cambridge. 4Korners, who has performed around the world, including at the Olympic games and Cannes Film Festival, and has been named Canadian DJ Of the Year as well as an NBA Champion as the official DJ of the Toronto Raptors, brings his experience and immersive sound together with the contemporary production of Adams on their new EP Our House. Released this past weekend, the pair combine their love for hip-hop, house, and trap music.
From the album is the dance floor hit “Alive” featuring Toronto rapper Dom Vallie. Driven by a techno bass line and wobbling synthesizers, the new single gives off a Euro-club energy, but with the laissez-faire swagger of Toronto. Keys N Krates come to mind as the song switches between house and trap verses, keeping the party interesting and very much alive.
