Trent Toney Looks Back For New Single “Knew You”
For Portland, Oregon musician Trent Toney, music has always been a way to connect with people from a young age. His sister and him would perform while in elementary school at their late grandmother’s nursing home to entertain the residents. Over 7 years later, he still continues to regularly perform there, along with a handful of other places around his hometown.
As he embarks on his career as an indie artist, his new single and second track to be released “Knew You” is a strong start for the singer-songwriter. His indie pop songwriting mixed with elegant vocals makes for a wonderful, acoustic-pop tune about looking back to the beginnings of a relationship long gone.
