The Harpoonist & The Axe Murderer Shares Remix of “Forever Fool”

From their 2017 album Post-Apocalipstick, psychedelic-blues act The Harpoonist & The Axe Murderer have reshaped their single “Forever Fool” into a twisted, and synth-driven remix, before shifting into an atmospheric and bass-heavy finish.

In a press release the band share, “This track and this album represent a side-step for us. We are trying something different, in a style that we aren’t known for. It’s a one off, but we wanted to fulfill our creative impulse to dip our feet into something more electronic and cinematic, where there is less focus on the songs, and more focus on the sonic adventurousness of the production”.

Inspired by ’80s horror flicks and neon-coloured synthesizers, the accompanying music video is an eerie and dystopian collection of strange clips and ominous animations that match the moody re-imagination.
