Leon Bridges Shares Anderson .Paak Directed Music Video “Motorbike”; Announces New Album
Grammy Award-winning R&B recording artist and songwriter Leon Bridges will release his third studio album Gold-Diggers Sound on July 23rd. Included in the upcoming release is the track “Motorbike”, and its accompanying music video directed by Anderson .Paak (aka Director .Paak). Inspired by Bonnie and Clyde, the adventurous love story plays with the timeless narratives of self-destructive love and passionate chemistry.
Says Leon of “Motorbike,” “The inception of the song started with this afrobeat-type instrumental that my homeboy Nate Mercerau made. Prior to the session, I was in Puerto Rico for my 30th with some of my best friends, and the energy of that trip totally inspired this song. “Motorbike” is about living in the moment and escaping with someone. It’s the personification of that unspoken chemistry you have with that person. A special thank you to my man Anderson .Paak for the stunning visuals.”
Named after the iconic Los Angeles speakeasy and studio that housed Leon and his creative collaborators over the last two years, Gold-Diggers Sound is an soulful R&B album inspired by late nights and liberating creativity.
