Post-Hardcore Act Militarie Gun Share New Video For “Don’t Pick Up The Phone”

Having spent a number of years as the frontman of hardcore act Regional Justice Center, Ian Shelton has assembled a new team as Militarie Gun at the start of the lockdown, following RJC’s delayed tour plans. With their debut EPs All Roads Lead To The Gun and All Roads Lead To the Gun II out later this year – June 4th and September 10th respectively – the Los Angeles-based act have shared the black and white music video for “Don’t Pick Up The Phone”, off of the first collection. The song’s steady and claustrophobic rhythm acts as a streamlined foundation for Shelton’s hollow, raspy howl as he balances between escapism, anxiety, and built up frustration with a variety of characters.
