Neo-Soul Artist NGAIIRE Shares Final Single “Him” Ahead Of Upcoming LP ‘3’ Out August 27

After sharing her stunning single “Closer” and its sci-fi cult music video, Papua New Guinean/Australian neo-soul artist NGAIIRE has released her final single ahead of her upcoming album 3 out August 27th via Majestic Casual. Titled “Him”, the latest single steps into the darkness that encouraged the completion of the album, as NGAIIRE has a deeply personal conversation with the people she loves about the legacy of love.

“I am full to the brim of stories that many don’t have the privilege to hold within themselves; some I know quite well and some live deep in my DNA that I won’t have enough lifetimes to unpack. But the ones I know, I will tell how I want to because I can. So here is a collection of love letters to 3 entities – myself, my country and those I love both here and now departed.”

NGAIIRE instantly opens with a poignant and heartfelt “I’m angry, I’m hurt, and I’m in pain” on “Him”, as her calm delivery bears plenty of emotion and vulnerability overtop a steady and minimalist beat. The instrumentation begins to expand as the chorus approaches, allowing her voice to soar alongside the neo-soul production, with her articulate and sorrowful lyrics in tow.
