UK Folk Artist Luca Wilding Shares Lead Single From Upcoming EP “Book Of Fate”

British folk artist Luca Wilding has announced his upcoming EP Book Of Fate will be out later this year. Leading the way is the delicate title track and its accompanying visuals, as Wilding focuses on the concept of forgiveness. The first of four tracks, “Book Of Fate” is about approaching the negative feelings of growth – sadness, heartache, betrayal – as part of the journey.

Featuring Wilding’s soft, falsetto and lush instrumentation in line wit Sufjan Stevens and Justin Vernon, the new single is a personal reflection for the UK musician. “When I was writing it, I was going through some things that might have damaged me more than a little, I lost friends, I let love slip away, made bad decisions”, he shares. “But, over this period, as my thoughts formed into songs, this idea of forgiveness began to grow. I began to see the mistakes, losses and endings simply as part of the wonder of being human. Someone once told me that, if you are able to take the things that would hurt you and turn them into something beautiful, you come always closer to understanding what it means to live.”

Living up to his standards, “Book Of Fate” is a beautiful and compelling release that is just the beginning for this next chapter from Wilding. Watch the music video below:
