UK Jazz Crossover Artist Georgia Cécile Honours Her Father With New Single “He Knew How To Love”
Rising jazz artist Georgia Cécile has been building momentum in the UK with her stunning crossover of pop, soul, and jazz. Now onto her third single, Cécile is showcasing her exquisite ballad capabilites on the heartfelt “He Know How To Love”. Inspired by her father, the captvating release puts her devotion and appreciation in the spotlight, soundtracked by her warm voice and rich piano arrangement.
Georgia explains the personal message within: “This song is my most personal as it was written about my Father. I wanted to capture the essence of him – his presence, spirituality, and the ways in which he nurtured and shaped my world and how his personal sacrifices allowed me to pursue my dream. The fruition of those dreams are felt in the song too; moments of self-realisation and the journey of evolving through adolescence into womanhood. It is my hope that others feel moved and empowered to realize their destiny.”
Adding to the cinematic performance, Cécile has shared the accompanying music video, directed and choreographed by Scottish film director Rianne White, who has previously worked with the likes of Ellie Goulding, and Kate Tempest. Dramatic backdrops and theatrical costumes build a surreal setting for Cécile’s passionate performance.
