Bedroom-pop Artist Boko Unveils Expressive New Single “Miss u so” From Dirty EP

Silicon Valley-born, Tel Aviv-based indie artist Boko will be releasing his new EP Dirty in the near future, and has now shared his latest single “Miss u so”. His simple yet effective style of bedroom-pop-meets-alternative brings out a crisp, dense production style matched with honest and candid lyricism. Conceived while longing for a previous relationship, “Miss u so” explores the human trait of overthinking, stumbling through the reason for its end but not quite being certain why.

The melancholic, introspective nature of the track comes out in a glossy guitar riff as Boko’s rough timbre manages to flow effortlessly over the instrumentation. Giving it a raw edge, the EP itself was produced over 2 years and was intentionally unpolished and rough, recorded in his bedroom with a limited set-up and $30 dynamic mic, hoping to maximize the real and unfiltered emotions of his songwriting.

Mission accomplished.
