I hope you enjoy the playlist (you can find it at the bottom) and skim through a few highlights below – don’t forget: if you enjoy something, share it around!

Petey – Lean Into Life

Despite going TikTok famous with millions of viewers on a daily basis, Petey still flies under the radar as an indie singer-songwriter. His new single “Lean Into Life” is the latest from his recent debut album of the same name, and it is packed full of emotion, striking arrangements, and unpredictable showmanship. Plus, his usual multiple-personality acting style makes up his cast in the new visual.

Ultra Q – Bowman

Oakland-based four-piece band Ultra Q have released their new single and video “Bowman”, the latest taste of their newly announced EP Get Yourself A Friend, out November 19th. Co-written by PUP’s Stefan Babcock, the new single is a punchy alt-rock tune that finds its crafty visual partner from the Malibu hills.

Fernie – New Beginnings

Montreal nu-soul artist Fernie has shared his feel-good single “New Beginnings”, the latest from his upcoming album Aurora out September 24th. His crisp vocals and bouncing songwriting give off a cool and crisp vibe as he promotes the idea to let go of outside voices and focus on finding what you want in life.

Little Simz ft. Obongjayar – Point and Kill

Hidden beneath the mediocre mountain of Certified Lover Boy, British hip-hop artist Little Simz dropped her phenomenal full-length Sometimes I Might Be Introvert on Friday. From the release is her new single and video for “Point and Kill”, featuring fellow African-British artist Obongjayar. Filmed in Nigeria, the pair are a new Bonnie & Clyde, as they go through their adventure with the various spots as their backdrop.

Andy Shauf – Spanish On The Beach

Back with his new single “Spanish On The Beach”, Toronto-based singer-songwriter Andy Shauf continues his brand of hypnotic songwriting and storytelling. Depicting a couple on vacation, the song’s simple melody serves as the foundation for their communication breakdown.
