L.A. Singer-Songwriter Oberhofer Finds The Beauty In Simplicity On New Single “Let It Go”; Announces New LP

Los Angeles-based composer/producer/songwriter Brad Oberhofer has announced his first album in nearly six years Smothered. Set for release on November 12th via Telefono Records, Oberhofer has shared the news alongside his jangling new single “Let It Go” and its matching music video.

On the new single, Oberhofer’s vocals lead the way for a feel-good, DIY-style tune about finding the beauty in simplicity, evoking hints and touches of MGMT and Animal Collective with its spirited electronic influences. “Life feels really heavy if you give insignificant things too much credence. I don’t need a big budget. I don’t need popularity. I just need an outlet to share the beauty I see,” Oberhofer says about the song.

For the new music video, Oberhofer lives up to his word, creating a homemade, low budget music video that is filled with personality and discovery, making for a perfect combination of song and sights.
