Sydney Singer-Songwriter romæo Shares Latest Single “TAKE IT”

Sydney singer-songwriter and producer romæo has shared her new single “TAKE IT”. Incorporating the punchy qualities of trap and the sultry influences of hyper-pop, “TAKE IT” showcases romæo’s playful and hook-driven style. romæo elaborates, “With this track I wanted to have fun and play around with trap and hyper-pop production styles. At the end of the day, I just wanted to make a catchy banger, but the lyrics are actually about The Grotesque. I’m fascinated by these mostly mythological, grotesque beings we seem drawn to – the vampire, the siren – gory but sexy figures. This track is both a broad and simple take on that, with the chorus being the literal call of the seducer, and the verse being the monologue of her victim.”
