Pop Songwriter Johan Lenox Brings Along Ant Clemons For New Music Video “You Up?”

Up until 2010, Johan Lenox had exclusively emerged himself in classical music. After discovering the genre-bending work of Kanye West and his album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Lenox dove into finding the perfect middle ground between hip-hop, pop, and classical. Now a Grammy award-winning producer and songwriter, Lenox is making the switch to a more solo journey and has shared his new single “You Up?”, from his forthcoming collection WDYWTBWYGU (What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up).

Bringing along Ant Clemons, “You Up?” is a captivating mix of styles, bringing together R&B, trap, and pop for a melodic bass-heavy performance.
