East Coast Punks Scooped Up! Get Into Trouble In New Video For “Dislexic”

Milford, CT punk act Scooped! Up have shared their latest DIY music video for “Dislexic”, the second single from their upcoming sophomore album. Formed back in 2016, the group have clear ties to the music of the early 2000s and lates ’90s, with strong influences from Blink-182, Green Day, and NoFX coming through with their West Coast skate punk style. Fast time signatures, simple three chord melodies, and suburban angst come through for a barrelling minute and a half.

About the new music video, the band share: “We shot this music video at our favorite local breakfast joint. its called Little Lasse’s. they were nice enough to let us shoot a video there and it came out exactly how we planned. This was the first music video we wrote a script for and it made the recording and editing so much smoother. everything just fell into place because it was written out. every two seconds of the song had a shot planned for it so It was a lot easier and more fun to make”.
