New York City Singer-Songwriter Kevin Atwater Shares Intimate New Single “dispose”

New York City-based singer-songwriter/actor Kevin Atwater is set to release a new EP later this year. His lead single “dispose” is a harmony-filled effort that explores insecurities from within a relationship.

“‘dispose’ is a song about separation anxiety and intruding thoughts within a relationship”, Kevin begins. “That brief moment of insecurity that can start to consume your thoughts. it’s not a particularly healthy song, and i’m thankful to be out of that place now. but i wanted to honor those difficult feelings and write about them as a way of processing them”.

His dreamy vocals and bedroom guitars melt together for a honest and candid effort in line with the likes of Sufjan Stevens and Andrew Bird, and an attached bright, youthful quality.
