Victoria Indie Folk Duo Ocie Elliott Share Intimate New Single “Coming Home”

Following a productive 2021 with two EP releases, Victoria, B.C. folk duo Ocie Elliott have continued their momentum with their first single of 2022, “Coming Home”.

Known for their intimate and meditative folk style, the duo of Jon Middleton and Sierra Lundy hold true to their sound on “Coming Home”; gentle acoustic strumming meets angelic vocal harmonies for a soft and gentle reminder that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

“Coming Home arose as a riff and chorus-line that Sierra was working along with,” reflects Jon Middleton. “At first, we felt that perhaps the main phrase of the chorus was too direct and to the point but as the song evolved, and the verse lyrics came, we realized that it fit perfectly with the overall nature of the tune. This song is about the deep, spiritual feeling of having another’s whole being fill one’s own.”
