Indie Pop Artist ADMT Shares New Single “One Night”

Doncaster based artist ADMT shares his response to missing someone in his most recent single, “One Night.” Showcasing his penchant for articulate lyricism and effortless vocals, “One Night” stays true to his genre bending tendencies, blending R&B beats with massive pop hooks and his distinct voice. 

Sharing more about the song, he explained: “I wrote this song when I missed someone a whole lot. It seemed like all I wanted was one more night with that person, so I could feel all the feelings of when we were together.” The chorus features the sweeping beat with heartfelt lyrics painting the exact story ADMT held at the heart of the song. He continues by saying: “I thought that it would fix how empty I felt. It took a long time to realize that the solution had to come from within and it wasn’t about getting more time with that person.”
The steady beat and piano melody bring a softness to the track, while ADMT’s vocals bring an urgency into the track, culminating in the bridge and breaking into the final iteration of the chorus. At its core, the track’s message comes back to knowing your own worth: “Your value doesn’t change depending on someone else’s perception of you and that’s important to remember. Always back yourself and stop comparing yourself to others – you’re fucking sick.”
