Indie Singer-Songwriter ICEBERG Shares Title Track From Upcoming EP “Swim”

Multi-instrumentalist and producer Charlotte Berg, best known as ICEBERG, is set to release her self-produced EP Swim later this year, and has shared its lead single and title track. Serving as a metaphor for making the leap into the music industry, the indie singer-songwriter combines her poetic lyricism with compelling instrumentation to carry her message.

Over dreamy guitar rhythms, and steady percussion, Berg meditates on the obstalces she faces as a woman in the music industry. “I can feel my face crumbling”, she sings, pointing out the double standard of agism. Her words continue to cut through, as she sings, “they say you have to be young, to dip your toes in the water”.

Her poignant lyrics and cinematic musicality make for a compelling combination, bringing forth nods to Daughter, London Grammar, and Maggie Rogers with her tone and expansive sound.
