Los Angeles Singer-Songwriter Runnner Returns With “Vines To Make It All Worth It”
Runnner has made his return, recently sharing the short and sweet new release titled “Vines To Make It All Worth It.” The musical moniker of LA-based songwriter Noah Weinman, the track follows 2021’s album release, Always Repeating, and gives listeners an idea of what’s next for Runnner.
Clocking in at just one minute and thirty six seconds, “Vines To Make It All Worth It” kicks off quickly with a foundation of fingerpicked banjo that gently builds into a conclusion of layered vocals and keys. As abruptly as it seemingly starts, counted in with four beats of percussion, the track comes to a stop. Somehow the perfect length for the story to come through, there’s an unexpected feeling of being left with a cliffhanger.
Weinman discussed the new single saying: “I wrote [the song] a few years ago. It’s a tiny song about placing a lot of weight on seemingly small memories, and living with the love and frustration of those moments, both then and now. The title was inspired by a conversation with my sister and I want to thank her for that because I write most of my songs starting with the title.”
Since 2017 Weinman has been releasing music as Runnner, and there’s a promise of more music to come. “Vines To Make It All Worth It” is Runnner’s first track for Run for Cover Records.
