UK Indie Folk Act We Are All Fossils Share Heartfelt New Single “Home Grown Flowers”
UK indie folk group We Are All Fossils began as a YouTube cover channel in 2014 before blossoming into a full band in 2015, eventually releasing their debut album three years later. With a collection of warm-hearted, and lush folk songs in their toolbox, the trio have released their first single of 2022 with “Home Grown Flowers”. Part of a larger project set to be announced, the single is about losing love and trying to rebuild.
Built on a foundation of heartbreak, the single captures the genre’s timeless qualities: a rustic voice, gentle acoustic guitar, and swelling production. Composed following a wedding gig, the single is an organic account of moving on after the end of a relationship with a heavy soul.
Fans of Gregory Alan Isakov, The Tallest Man on Earth, and Bear’s Den will fall for the subtle Americana sensibilities and strong vocal harmonies.
