PREMIERE: Victoria Electro-Pop Group Cold Fame Let Young Love Shine On Lively New Single “If That’s Love”

Victoria-based electro-pop trio Cold Fame made their debut back in 2021 after friends Jodi Pederson, Damian Anthony, and Cody Dalman put their heads together during the pandemic. With the playfulness of modern-day Paramore, the youthful guitar pop the 1975, and their own unique chemistry, the trio have shared their new single “If That’s Love”.

As summer flings come to an end, the new single is an anthem for the changing of the seasons, and explores the intricacies of young love.

About the single, the band share, “The song explores the complexities of young love in an upbeat tempo that projects the hopeful tone of the lyrics while exploring the theme of living with no regrets. With lyrics such as “They say this love, it’s doomed, it’s wild and reckless… But if that’s love, I guess I’ll take my chances” – the song suggests letting go of what other people say and think and just enjoying being young and having fun!”

With its catchy hook and vibrant energy, “If That’s Love” is brimming with blind optimism that can only be matched by the feelings of a blissful new romance (will it last, time will tell).
