Hyper-Pop Act AMAVA Shares New Single “Feel Things”

San Francisco hyper-pop artist AMAVA has shared her new single “Feel Things”. Combining her childhood influences of Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears, and Norah Jones with modern icons Charli XCX and Sophie, “Feel Things” is a lively dance-pop track about embracing one’s emotions and being open to self-expression.

“This is a pure, honest love song where I didn’t shroud everything in a cover of heavy imagery and mystery and it was all me just saying exactly what I felt”, AMAVA shares.

Amava occasionally has combinations of her different roots in music which she fuses together to create her own style. She describes her music as “music to feel to”. “I want all of my music to sound like it takes place in a glittered, haunted house. A lot of what I write is based on how I’m feeling in that exact moment and I’ll always want to encapsulate a very specific and certain feeling”, says Amava.
