Halifax Producer waants Continues To Shine With Latest Release “just can’t get out of bed”

With his new EP Flop Era out earlier this month, Halifax-based producer waants has shared the latest focus single “just can’t get out of bed”. This time teaming up with vocalist Keeper E., the collaborative track is an upbeat and lively future-house track, despite its sad title.

Just as Ryan Hemsworth helped to put the east coast city electronic scene on the map, waants is a clear torch-bearer for the next generation of Canadian dance music. Hints of Sylvan Esso, Porter Robinson, and Local Natives give the song its more indie pop roots, while remaining unapologetically dance-hungry.
