Hawaiian Indie Pop Artist Sierra Blax Shares New Single “Distract Me” From Debut Full-Length ‘brb…I’m daydreaming’

Kaua’i, Hawai’i-born, Los Angeles-based indie pop singer-songwriter Sierra Blax released her debut full-length brb…i’m daydreaming, alongside its new focus single “Distract Me”.

About the release, the emerging artist shares, “[It is] about taking risks and doing things my way. The title represents my youth and how daydreaming got me here. This album will spark feelings of madness and self-destruction but at the same time orchestrating those feelings with class.”

As for her new single, “Distract Me” is an upbeat and lively single that dives into the “self-destruction” head on, as she sings about moving on from a toxic relationship with a new set of vices. Playful ’90s R&B influences and retro-fitted pop make way for the catchy chorus hook, as the jazz-trained musician lets her vocals strut across the instrumentation.
