Alt-Pop Artist Natalie Shares Playful New Single “Torment”

Fast-rising indie alt-pop artist Natalie has bee quietly building up her followers and her streaming numbers online, and the young self-proclaimed “Anti-Genre” singer has gone from strength to strength developing her craft into what it is now – a modern and complete sounding project akin to the likes of a Billie Eilish.

“Torment” is the new single which uses subtle production techniques to be a real piece of ear candy. The sultry vocals are sung in almost an ‘ASMR’ type of way. The arrangement and instrumentation shifts in and out of chorus so seamlessly that the song could be heard on any given radio station around the world, not to mention the production is top class which Natalie can also take credit for.

The multi-hyphenate musician describes what influenced this particular song, “I started by creating the bassline, it inspired me immediately. It felt haunting yet playful and I knew I wanted to match that energy lyrically. My favorite songs are the ones that can transition you from your bedroom to a night out.”
