Indie Folk Singer-Songwriter Mandi Mapes Shares Heartwarming New Single “Surely Goodness”
Indie folk-pop singer-songwriter Mandi Mapes has shared her warmhearted new single “Surely Goodness”. The lead single from her upcoming full-length Levees due in 2023, and is a wonderfully optimistic offering about the goodness around.
About the inspiration, Mandi shares, “I think so many of us are struggling right now, post the pandemic, with depression and anxiety and I just wanted to write a song that reminded all of us that even in the darkness, there is light.”
Her warm and sincere vocals overtop a dreamy, feel-good folk-pop melody are a wonderful combination, evoking a similar energy to the likes of Maggie Rogers and Margaret Glaspy.
