Hard Rock Act Gloomlight Share Dynamic New Single “Glasstide”
Hard rock group Gloomlight have shared their fourth single, “Glasstide”. Stepping into post-hardcore territory with its explosive instrumentation and emotive context, the new single nods to the likes of Dayseeker, Bad Omens, and modern Bring Me The Horizon. Written about experiencing anxiety and depression, “Glasstide” ebbs and flows with its musicality, mirroring the imbalance of emotions the song delves into.
“Glasstide has been one of my favorite songs to work on to date. Cyclical depression is something I’ve had to struggle with my whole life, so the writing process was significantly easier than some of the other songs we’ve released, and I think the melodies and progressions benefited from it. Truly some of my favorite writing both lyrically and melodically, I loved building this song, and it came together super quickly!“, shares frontman Tobias Smith.
