Washington Multi-Hyphenate Artist Zahir Drops New Single “Unusual” Featuring Phoenix James & Wiseboy Jeremy

Washington, D.C.-based multi-hyphenate artist, musician, and director Zahir has shared his new single “Unusual”, featuring R&B vocalist Phoenix James and rapper Wiseboy Jeremy. Lifted from his upcoming debut project later this year, the new track has the visual director establishing himself as a captivating new name in music.

He started his career as a visual director, using his hallmark visual recognition to assist in directing multiple short series’ for RayBan, Samsung, and most recently his debut short film, ‘Busy Working’. In June 2022, Zahir began to bridge his directing craft and musical upbringing by executively curating and releasing the compilation album From a Potter’s Hands. His upcoming project continues to step further into the world of music, as he turns his feelings into a R&B-hip-hop track.

Working elegantly with Phoenix James’ angelic vocals and Wiseboy’s guest verse, Zahir incorporates punchy soulful production with a level-headed flow expressing his feeling of loneliness and regret.
