Swedish Queer-Pop Artist Nao Mali Drops Fiery New Single “Pretty/Ugly”

Following the 2022 release of their debut EP EURASIA, Swedish alt-pop artist Nao Mali has returned with their new single “Pretty/Ugly”. The punchy rap track is lifted from their upcoming sophomore EP SCANDAL, and showcases the emerging artist’s vibrant and unwavering energy.

Pulsating two-step bass kicks and intergalacatic synthesizers provide the foundation for Nao to deliver a confident performance.

Speaking about the new offering, they said, “The song is about embracing the “flaws” and feeling pretty, even though beauty norms are telling us otherwise. In my case, sometimes I feel like a 10/10 and sometimes -10/10 and that’s just how it is. What is pretty? And what is ugly? Who gets to be the judge of that? Yeah you!”
