Los Angeles Singer-Songwriter Rowe Shares Stunning New Single “Floating”

For Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Beck Filip, starting a her new solo project as Rowe came to be after both her first band and long-term relationship ended. With two tough decisions behind her, she continued to look to music to help guide her through a tough period of self-discovery and loss. Making her debut back in 2019, Filip has gradually rolled out new music as Rowe.

Her latest is the stunning and patient single “Floating”, written about wanting to find peace while having to make difficult choices. Lead by her dreamy R&B vocals, the velvety release acts as a warm blanket that encourages the listener to live in a daydream. “This song is about choosing to be delusional and live in a fantasy instead of facing reality in a love that needs to end”, Rowe shares. “I think a lot of people currently dating these days can relate to this feeling”.
