Toronto-based hyper-pop artist Connor Mowat has shared his new single “Searching” under his moniker eyecon. Combining heartbreak with glitchy production and self-destructive habits, the new track delves into falling for the idea of someone and stumbling out of a toxic relationship.
“I fell in love with the idea of someone & made a song about it, then proceeded to stumble my way through a very toxic relationship, which I’m now a few months removed from“, Connor shares.
Sharing sonic similarities to the likes of Brakence and 93FEETOFSMOKE, the emo-hyper-pop single is one of many to come from the emerging artist this summer.
