Copenhagen Chamber-Rock Group Quiet Sonia Deliver Blistering Lead Single “Lilies” From Upcoming Debut LP

Copenhagen chamber-rock seven piece Quiet Sonia released their ambitious debut album QS at the beginning of June. Recorded live off the floor in a candle-lit studio over the course of a weekend, QS showcases the band’s cohesive and adventurous sound, stretching out into the world of Nick Cave, Black Country New Road, and Caroline.

From the release is their second single “Lilies”. A haunting and slow-burning listen, the new single is a mesmerizing 8-minute journey through a string of emotions. Its heavy, atmospheric mood dips into feelings of sadness, anger, fear, and triumph. Putting the band’s full tool set to work, the track works through a rollercoaster of post-rock dynamics, and chamber-folk melancholy lead by frontman Nikolaj Bruus’ bariton voice.
