Swedish-born, UK-based indie songwriter Janos spent a number of years playing with different bands. Eventually, he decided to take on a solo chapter of his career, fusing together his inspirations and musical history into his upbeat, dance-friendly indie pop.
His new single “Sicky / Sticky” plays with his roots in R&B, soul, pop, and jazz, and combines them into a fun-loving, irresistible new single. Inspiration from Anderson. Paak, The 1975, and Bruno Mars shines through with the song’s funky guitars, booming brass section, and Janos’ bright vocals. Despite the upbeat sound, the song explores the concept of escapism through drugs and alcohol, but hoping to achieve your dreams amongst the vices.
